By using Agora ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Agora is operated by Corentin Cheminot ("we", "us", "our").
You must be at least 13 years old to use Agora. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Agora is a conversational platform where an AI asks you philosophical questions and synthesizes collective human understanding. It is not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, or a substitute for professional help of any kind.
Your account is tied to an anonymous device identifier. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device. We cannot recover accounts if you lose your device identifier. You may optionally choose a username, which must be 3-20 letters and must not be offensive.
You retain ownership of the words you write in Agora. By using the app, you grant us a license to:
Your raw words are never sold. Synthesized insights — aggregate understanding that does not identify or quote individuals — may be shared with research partners.
You agree not to:
We use a disruption detection system. Repeated bad-faith interactions may result in thread closure or restriction of sharing privileges.
Content shared to the Inner Agora is screened for safety. We reserve the right to reject content that violates our guidelines and to restrict sharing privileges for repeat offenders.
We aim to keep Agora available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.
Agora is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to emotional distress, data loss, or reliance on AI-generated content. The AI's responses are generated by machine learning models and should not be treated as authoritative.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings. Upon deletion, your conversations are permanently removed. Synthesized insights they contributed to may remain, as they no longer contain individual words. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
